An Army Of Volunteers

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30). You can tell what kind of believer a person is by the fruit they bear. Not only their physical children, but also those they have lead to Christ. When dealing with unbelievers or those who have been influenced by false teachings and false doctrines, we have to be very careful in trying to win that soul over on to the Lord's side, or we could do more harm than good. We first should have spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be able to stand up and explain and answer any questions that come our way. Being a volunteer in God's army to win souls for the kingdom is going to take time, discernment, and all of the elements of the fruit of the spirit. No one person can do it all. Every one of us have something to contribute, and in the end, God gets all the glory. There are people out there who truly want to know and understand the word of God. The life we live should be an example to those around us as to who we serve and who is the head of our life. Every scripture that is mentioned to a lost soul , is like a seed. The seed is the word of God. Someone sows, and another comes and nurtures it, but God gets the crop. Satan is out to destroy the relationship between God and man. That's why it's important that we get the word inside of us so we will be ready for any opposition he sends our way. The harvest is plenteous but the labourers are few (Matthew 9:37). Those who lead others to the Lord will have great rewards in Heaven. James 5:20 says, "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."
